Ongoing Cold Weather
With the ongoing cold weather the soup kitchen still continues to operate 7 nights a week. This winter is proving to be one of the hardest ones we’ve had in recent years. Temperatures have plummeted overnight and are continuing to stay low. On a nightly basis we are providing hot drinks and soup to our clients so that they have something warm. We are also providing blankets and sleeping bags to ensure that clients remain warm if they’re sleeping rough.
Thank you to everybody who has supported us with donations, whether they’re monetary donations or donations that are of items of clothing, blankets or sleeping bags to donations of food to assist us with the ongoing running of the soup kitchen and the outreach work which we’ll continue to do even on the harshest nights of weather.
